Raleigh

Welcome to the the city of Raleigh, hosting one of the most active groups in North Carolina. With several experienced traceurs, Raleigh sees a regular number of both training sessions and jams year round. Everybody is welcome to meet up regardless of age, gender, physical fitness, etc. as long as they understand that safety is the first priority, the environment and public is to be respected, and that they have fun.

Regular Meet-Ups:

Monday and Wednesday 6PM-8PM

The "Parkour and Freerunning Club" at North Carolina State University meets up on a regular basis at the Brickyard (See H4 HERE) on campus throughout the school year. Thursday 4PM-8PM (See details below)

The "Parkour and Freerunning Club" at NCSU coaches parkour to university enrolled-students at the Brickyard (See H4 HERE). These two free classes are offered to help develop the new practitioner's skills and fitness level through parkour. Exercises are tailored to enrich a strong foundation. Women's Only Session 4PM-6PM
A coaching session led my one or two of the experienced male practitioners on NCSU campus. Only women are allowed to attend this session.

Open Session 6PM-8PM
Right after the "Women's Only Session", a few instructors lead a two hour parkour instructional class (Open to all students).

Fridays 6PM

A conditioning session is held most Fridays at the Court of Carolina (See L5 HERE) on NC State campus. The training ranges anywhere from an hour and a half to three hours covering the conditional and technical aspects of movement. Be prepared to train hard and to stay with the group. Saturday and Sunday

Many jams are held on Saturday and Sundays for those who can find the time to meet up on the weekends. There is never a consistent time that many of the regular practicing athletes meet up so you'll have to check the forums for more information on local weekend meet ups in Raleigh.
